Our Staff | About Us
Let us tell you a little about our staff.
Dr. Ellen Burkett She been in practice in Littleton since 1991. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Nursing before she decided to return to school later for her medical degree. The University of Texas was her choice for her M.D. degree, and then University of Colorado was calling for her internship, residency and chief residency. Dr. B, as she is known, is president of the Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert County Medical Society, is medical director and vice president of MedSouth, an independent practice association of South Denver physicians, and serves on the board of Medical Telecommunications, our local answering service.
She is a board certified internist, married with three children and one grand daughter. Her practice is open, and she welcomes new patients.

Dr. Michael Mignoli He is also a Texan. He attended Baylor for his B.S. and M.D. degrees. He then also felt the Colorado connection, and came to the University of Colorado for his internship, residency and chief resident positions. He joined SouthPark Internal Medicine in 1995 and is also a board certified internist. Dr. Mignoli is certified to do FAA physicals for Classes 2 and 3. He is single, loves cats and is our resident computer expert. His practice also welcomes new patients.

Lora Jackson Lora graduated from the University of Colorado with her Master of Science in Nursing in 1987. But even more valuable than her education, is her multiple years of experience. Lora has been with our practice from the very beginning, bringing years of experience from Denver General. Her Family Nurse Practitioner program has served our patients very well. Lora keeps busy with her three children, husband and golden lab, JJ.

Susan Braun Susan is our lone Physician's Assistant, or P.A. Susan joined us in 2002 bringing much experience, joy and laughter. Susan received her nursing degree from the Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit, and her Master of Science in the Physician Assistant Program from Central Michigan University. Susan has been known to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the deer on her patio, and to trek miles into the wilderness to enjoy a weekend in a hut. She is married with a son and a daughter, who both keep her very busy and involved.

Jane Jones Jane is our practice manager, and has been with SouthPark since 1991. You hear her voice on some of the messages in the office. Jane is married with two grown children, a very spoiled English Springer Spaniel named Newman, and has many diversified interests including a thriving caramel and chocolate sauce company, Sweet & Saucy!

Beth Elliott Beth is one of our fabulous nurse practitioners, and will be adding a new little boy to our family in December, her first child! We are all very excited to spoil him rotten. Beth has been with SouthPark for many years now, and would love to take care of you at your next visit.

Linda Sonsiadek Linda is one of our great registered nurses, and is our Dexa specialist. You will run into Linda on the floor and on the phone. Linda has lots of experience and can help you with any problem you might be having.

Lorna Low Lorna has been with SouthPark for many years, and you will see Lorna both on the floor and speak with her on the phone. She has lots of expertise to share with you!

Barbara Graziano Barb is another of our specialized lab nurses. It is her favorite place to be, and it shows! You will also speak with her on the phones, and once in a while see her on the floor taking patients back to their room. Barb will be happy to help you in any way she can.

Most of our staff members have been with the practice for many
years-some since 1991. Our staff feels like they are a part of
a family. That means that you will see the same faces visit after
visit, and begin to feel like you are a member of our family as
well, and that is just how we want you to feel!
