Our Staff | About Us
 Most of our staff members have been with the practice for many
years-some since 1991. Our staff feels like they are a part of
a family. That means that you will see the same faces visit after
visit, and begin to feel like you are a member of our family as
well, and that is just how we want you to feel!
Our office and lab opens at 7:30 Monday through Thursday, and
8:00 on Friday. We want you to be able to come to our office on
your way to your office if you need to do so. If you just need
to have blood drawn, you may stop in without an appointment. Remember,
we are internal medicine…we are specialists in all aspects
of adult medicine. We do not see children until they are 16 years
of age. We care for a variety of acute and chronic medical problems,
which covers a very wide range. We perform all types of routine
physical exams, yearly pap smears, bone density testing, FAA physicals,
skin procedures and flexible sigmoidoscopies in our office.
We are not only here for you when you are ill, but we are committed
to keeping you healthy as well. If you need to be hospitalized,
our doctors will see you at either Littleton or Sky Ridge hospitals.
They feel it is important to care for their own patients in the
hospital. Although many physicians no longer see their patients
in the hospital, Dr. Burkett and Dr. Mignoli feel it is important
to stay connected and to care for their own patients.
We have a new state of the art Dexa bone density machine to help
us diagnose bone loss. Our office is now totally electronic. All
of our records are computerized and each exam room has a computer
to access information during your visit. We are connected to both
Sky Ridge and Littleton Hospitals and to other physicians in the
community electronically. In addition, we participate with Reach
My Doctor by which you can contact our office through secure email.
With a monthly subscription through Reach My Doctor, you are able
to request information, appointments, referrals and advice from
your doctor.
We invite you to call our offices to find out more about us. We
accept nearly all major insurance plans, and our nurses will be

If you are directed into their voice mail, please know that means
they are helping another patient who needs assistance. If you leave
